Job Title:   MK Bay Clean-up Supervisor

Department:  Lands

Job Overview/Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wood Chopping Project Supervisor . The Wood Chopping Project Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our MK Bay wood chopping operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for forestry and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment.

Duties:

Supervise a team of wood choppers and laborers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Plan and organize daily wood chopping activities to meet production goals and deadlines.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any concerns promptly.

Maintain equipment in good working condition, scheduling maintenance and repairs as necessary.

Monitor wood quality and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.

Keep accurate records of , inventory, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in forestry, wood chopping, or a related field.

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Strong knowledge of wood chopping equipment and techniques.

Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in forestry operations.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in forestry or related field is a plus.
