Job Title:   MK Bay Clean-up Labourer

Department:  Lands

Job Overview/Purpose:

We are currently seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team as Wood Chopping Laborers. As a Wood Chopping Laborer, you will play a vital role in our wood chopping operations, assisting in the production of wood products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties:

Operate wood chopping equipment (axe, etc.) under the guidance of supervisors.

Assist in the cutting, splitting, and stacking of wood products.

Load and unload wood materials from trucks and conveyor belts.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.

Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.

Strong work ethic and reliability.

Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
