Job Title:             Asset Management Data Entry Specialist

                             (Two Year Term)

Reports to:          Community Development Manager

Job Overview/Purpose

 

The project-based Asset Management Data Entry Specialist will primarily focus on data entry for the asset management system. This role will also support the improvement of financial processes within the Community Development department and work with the Finance team as needed. This position is project-based and provides essential support to the Community Development team.

 

Job Duties

Data Entry and Asset Management:

  • Accurately enter and manage data within the asset management system.
  • Liaise with PSD Citywide to ensure detailed implementation work is carried out effectively. Process Improvement:
  • Identify and suggest improvements for financial processes within the Community Development department.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to implement approved process improvements

Contractor Liaison:

  • Act as the point of contact for contractors regarding invoicing and purchasing needs. Prepare and maintain workflows in the PSD Citywide system to ensure smooth processing of contractor invoices and purchases.

Financial Support:

  • Assist the Community Development Manager with financial duties, including financial reporting. Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions related to Community Development projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives ofthe Community Development department.

Education Requirements Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, office administration, financial support, or asset management is required.

  • Experience in a community development setting is an asset.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
